Find a New Habit
Routine is a big one for smokers, you tend to get used to when you’re going to have a cigarette – going out for a smoke with friends on your lunch break for example. Finding a way to break this routine and distract you from what would feel normal really helps. We might be biased, but reading a book could help! Otherwise, going for a walk on your lunch break or finding a good film to get distracted by in the evening can help.
Find a Replacement
If it is nicotine addiction that you struggle with most when wanting to quit smoking then vaping is something you should try. You can get nicotine patches and pills which some people have success with tool. One of the best things about choosing vaping when considering how to quit smoking is how many different types of voe there are – different machines, various flavours and even different strengths. This allows you to find the perfect solution to suit you, which can make quitting smoking easier.
Find Something Else To Spend Your Money On
Smoking is expensive and even if you’re swapping this habit to vaping, you’re still likely to save a hefty amount by giving up. Keep the money you would have spent in a separate bank account or piggy bank. Say for example you would usually spend £10 every 2 days on cigarettes – over a month you would have saved at least £150 – spend half on that on new vaping stuff (you won’t!) and you still save £900 a year – A HOLIDAY!
