Exploring Moral Values with Your Child
The best way to do this to demonstrate being helpful and kind. Once inbred in a child, this is something that will most likely stick with them and mould them into what their character is. Teach your child to be kind to every person they meet, no matter what background they may come from. Listening is also basic morals to have. Being a someone who interrupts constantly and doesn’t listen will result in big problems in school and work as no one appreciates a person who cannot wait their turn.

Things You Can Teach Them
Teach them to be respectful towards people, objects and environments too. This can be demonstrated through helping clean up, avoiding using things forcefully and being courteous towards adults and friends alike. Don’t forget to reinforce the good behaviour as it will show your child that good behaviour is appreciated and will create a far bigger chance of them repeating these good actions. Tell them Well done and be vocal about what it is exactly they did right so they can bind the memory of the action to the reward and build on their moral values.
