The October Competition [closed]

Competition time is here again – a chance for three lucky winners to scoop a fantastic armful of the latest titles from the Bookhugger publishers. A great way to fill shelves or Christmas stockings…

Three lucky winners of this month’s competition will each receive the following titles:

  • The new edition of T.S. Eliot’s family favourite, Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, with illustrations by Axel Scheffler
  • Sunnyside (trade paperback edition), by Glen David Gold (Sceptre) – read an extract
  • Women, Work, and the Art of Savoir Faire by Mireille Guiliano (Simon & Schuster UK)
  • Memory of Flames, by Armand Cabasson (Gallic Books) – read an extract
  • Pretty Monsters, by Kelly Link (Canongate) – read an story from the collection

To win, answer three questions, the answers to which can all be easily found here on Bookhugger:

  • Question 1: What was the name of the counterfeiter who was Isaac Newton’s nemesis while he was Master of the Royal Mint?
  • Question 2: How much did Victoria Coren scoop up when she won the European Poker Championship?
  • Question 3: When did Napoleon write his novella Clisson and Eugénie?
