Congratulations to Canongate
Bookhugger publishers Canongate have just won the Publisher of the Year at the British Book Awards, topping off a great year.
Canongate have had a great year, in which they published Barack Obama’s books (the rights to which were bought when most people had never heard of him), humour smash hit The Mighty Book of Boosh and books by David Simon, creator of The Wire, as well as a diverse and striking selection of other fiction and non-fiction.
Read more about the award at The Guardian, and peruse a selection of Bookgeeks reviews of Canongate titles below:

- No Angel, by Jay Dobyns
- Sum: Forty Tales from the Afterlives, by David Eagleman

- Lowboy, by John Wray
Hearty congratulations from the Bookhugger team to all at Canongate!
